Over the past few years Eloping has changed from secretly tying the knot to intentionally tying the knot just the two of you or a select few. If you don’t want a big traditional wedding, that is completely okay! So many couples are making the choice to Elope. If Eloping in Iceland with the beautiful landscapes is what you’d prefer to do, then you should absolutely do that!
How To Elope Legally In Hawaii
While paper work isn’t the “funnest” part of Eloping, it is the most important part to Eloping to make it legal! Even if you’re travelling internationally for your Elopement, you can still legally tie the knot!
Here are the steps needed to Elope legally in Hawaii:
A marriage license - You apply online and pick up your license together (bring a government-issued ID).
No witnesses required.
No blood tests required.
A registered marriage performer (officiant, pastor, celebrant, etc.) to perform your ceremony and file the license.
