Small Wedding at Tunnel Mountain, Banff

KAITLIN & BRANDON
Getting ready at basecamp Resort
Kaitlyn and Brandon started their day off by getting ready separately at basecamp resort in Canmore, Alberta. Kaitlyn had help from her mother and sister while getting ready for the day. She also did her own makeup which is incredible! She took lessons from Sheena Rae Beauty beforehand. Meanwhile, Brandon was getting help from his dad while getting ready nearby. Kaitlyn got her wedding dress from Bridal Boutique in Edmonton. Once they were all ready, we headed to Tunnel Mountain for their first look and ceremony.
Tunnel Mountain Small Wedding
We headed to Tunnel Mountain for Kaitlyn & Brandons first look together before their guests arrived. They had the stunning mountains in the background. Brandon joyfully turned around to see his beautiful bride for the first time. This couple has been together since high school so they have been looking forward to this day for a long time! Once the first look was done, we were ready to start the ceremony. They had a very intimate ceremony with their parents and siblings. They rented chairs and a backdrop to enhance natures beauty even more! The stunning florals are from Little Petal Company. Once the ceremony was finished we captured some family photos!
Three Sister Mountain Adventure
After the ceremony at Tunnel Mountain we headed to a secluded area (my little hidden gem) to capture some couple portraits. It was in Canmore and had the Three Sisters Mountain in the background. The couple lucked out and had the whole space to themselves so they got to enjoy the beauty of nature and relax during their photos together.
Banff national park elopement
The couple set off for their private dinner together and shared their cake from Carmens CraZ Cakes. Once they were done their dinner we knew it was a great idea to go to the Town of Banff for a few couple portraits! It wouldn’t be a Banff small wedding without going into the town at some point. Kaitlyn had a custom jacket made just for the day as well.
Lake Minnewanka elopement portraits
To end the day off we spent the evening at Lake Minnewanka. My personal favourite time of the day is sunset and blue hour so that’s the time we arrived for. Going this late into the day meant there is little to no people around! We were the only ones there which is very uncommon. We took some fun portraits around lake Minnewanka! We ended the evening off by taking some last photos on the Lake Minnewanka Boat Tour dock. We then parted ways so Kaitlyn and Brandon could enjoy the rest of their evening together.
