Because of how short the bloom window is, I only open a very limited number of sessions to ensure every client gets the most beautiful blossoms and best light.

What happens if the blossoms bloom early or late?

Cherry blossoms can shift slightly each year depending on weather, which is why I keep the exact location flexible until 2 days before your session. This allows me to choose the most beautiful blooming spot in Edmonton so your photos have the dreamy spring feel you’re booking for.

We feel awkward in photos. Will you guide us?

Absolutely. Most of my clients say this before their session! I’ll gently guide you the entire time with movement, prompts, and easy direction so nothing feels stiff or overly posed. My goal is to help you feel comfortable enough to simply connect, move, laugh, and be yourselves.
That’s where the magic happens.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Spring weather can be unpredictable, so I always keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session.

If the weather is unsafe or would affect the quality of your images, we’ll reschedule to the nearest available cherry blossom date so you still get the beautiful experience you’re dreaming of 

How do I officially reserve my spot?

Your session is officially reserved once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid.
Because these dates are extremely limited and only happen once a year, spots are booked on a first come, first served basis.

What should we wear?

Soft, flowy, neutral tones always photograph best with the blossoms. Think creams, whites, blush, sage, beige, soft blues, and light earthy tones.

After booking, I’ll send you my full style guide to help you choose outfits that feel elevated and photograph beautifully. If you’re ever unsure, you can always send me outfit photos and I’ll happily help

When will we receive our photos?

Your soft proof gallery will be delivered within 1 week of your session.

From there, you’ll choose your 9 favourite images for final editing. Once your selection is made, your final hand-edited gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks.

Can we bring our kids / dog?

Yes — these sessions are perfect for couples, families, motherhood, and even pups if the location allows 

If you’re planning to bring little ones or your dog, let me know ahead of time so I can guide the session in a way that feels fun, easy, and natural for everyone.
